Paystack launches 'Spotify for Africa'

When they're not building payments infrastructure for Africa, Paystack developers are sharing and grooving to music.

And since they come from a diverse range of backgrounds, the music they share spans a wide variety of genres, moods, and even languages.

Many months ago, they built a Slack bot that automatically creates a monthly Spotify playlist of all the music shared that month. Loving the response that the Slack-collated playlists got, they decided to create a custom experience to make it easier for the entire community they serve to enjoy them.

The result is Paystack Music, where you can easily listen to monthly mixtapes of the music we share with each other on Slack.

They built Paystack Music by creatively bringing together the Slack and Spotify APIs.

When next you seek a playlist that gives you nothing to miss about Spotify, find it, and your next favourite song to provide good company as you work on the next bi thing on Paystack Music.
