Network International has launched a series of in-person payment solutions in Kenya, aiming to boost commerce and expand its market presence.
The company introduced point-of-sale (POS) systems with QR code payment options, targeting merchants seeking digital transaction capabilities.
These new POS solutions will be free to merchants, enabling businesses of all sizes to accept payments on the go and cater to diverse payment preferences, including mobile wallets and cards.
These new solutions aim to improve accessibility for merchants, ensure inclusivity for customers, and potentially increase business opportunities and revenue for merchants.
The launch is part of Network International's strategy to enter the in-person payments market in Kenya, complementing its existing online payment services.
Judy Waruiru, Network's Regional Managing Director for Acquiring in East Africa, emphasized that this move aligns with the company's goal to expand its presence in the country's payment ecosystem.
