Leading digital content distribution technology company, Mondia has partnered with Jumia, Africa’s largest e-commerce platform, to launch Jumia Games, a competitively priced entertainment segment on the JumiaPay App.

On this subscription-based service, JumiaPay consumers will have full access to thousands of high quality games such as CR7, Ben10, Tom and Jerry on Jumia Games.

“The gaming industry is expected to grow at a CGAR of 12% until 2025 and with more than 200 million Africans who are below the age of 35, the continent has tremendous potential in the mobile gaming segment,” said Dr Simon Rahmann, CEO of Mondia.

The gaming portal is available to Jumia customers in five African countries including Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya and Ghana, with expansion to Tunisia and Côte d’Ivoire planned for the next few months.

This partnership is in line with Mondia’s enterprise, which seeks to help companies capitalise on the digital relationships they have with their customers.
